Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals face off on Sunday in NFC West NFL Football action. The Seahawks are -10 point favorites over the Cardinals with an over/under point total set at 35.
The Seattle Seahawks are fighting for a playoff spot in the NFC and after a big win in Chicago last week they look set to make a run. Russell Wilson has completed 63.4 percent of his passes with 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions and he has rushed for 298 yards. Marshawn Lynch is averaging 4.6 yards per carry with six touchdowns and he has caught 18 passes out of the backfield. Sidney Rice has 43 tackles and seven touchdowns, Golden Tate has 35 catches and seven touchdowns, and Zach Miller has 28 catches. Defensively the Seahawks are allowing 16.8 points, 110.6 rushing yards, and 202.6 passing yards with 10 interceptions and 30 sacks. Bobby Wagner has 101 tackles, Kam Chancellor has 80 tackles, and K.J. Wright has 76 tackles. Seattle may suffer suspensions in their secondary which could change the look of their very strong defense.
The Arizona Cardinals won their first four games this season but then dropped their next eight in a row. Ryan Lindley has been filling in at QB but it is possible Kevin Kolb will return this week which will be a big upgrade for the offense. The Cardinals running game has been anemic with Beanie Wells averaging 2.4 yards per carry and LaRod Stephens-Howling averaging 3.4 yards per carry. Larry Fitzgerald has 56 catches and four touchdowns, Andre Roberts has 50 catches and five touchdowns, and Rob Housler has 36 catches. Defensively Arizona allows 19.5 points, 128.6 rushing yards, and 196.1 passing yards with 18 interceptions and 33 sacks. Daryl Washington has 104 tackles and nine sacks, Paris Lenon has 75 tackles, and Patrick Peterson has five interceptions. The Cardinals defense is outstanding but they spend way too much time on the field due to the inept offense.
Seattle is 7-1 against the spread in their last eight home games against a team with a losing road record, 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games overall, and 1-4 against the spread against the NFC West. Arizona is 2-6-1 against the spread in their last nine games overall, 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record, and 5-1 against the spread in their last six games after accumulating less than 250 yards in their previous game. The home team has covered the spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
Buckle up the chin straps for this one as hard hitting will rule the day and getting 10 points in a game where we aren’t likely to see many points at all looks too good to pass up.
