San Diego State player collapses on court, taken off on stretcher

Polee is reportedly OK and headed to the hospital.

San Diego State forward Dwayne Polee II collapsed to the floor against UC Riverside in a scary scene on Monday night. Polee was cutting across the lane when he fell and landed on his face. The game was stopped while Polee laid on the ground in shock. A medical team hooked up electrodes at one point.

He was put on a stretcher and waved to the crowd at Viejas Arena. According to San Diego State, Polee is “completely responsive.”

Scary stuff with SDSU’s Dwayne Polee. Collapsed on the court. Parents ran out from the stands. Appears to be conscious now.
