Rashad Jennings should get full workload in Week 15; fantasy value solid

Rashad Jennings should get a full workload in Week 15 against Washington. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings “should be able to carry more of a full load” in Week 15, according to head coach Tom Coughlin, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. Jennings is coming off an ankle injury and played in Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. But Jennings carried the ball just two times for 5 yards, and caught a single pass for 17 yards in the game.

Previously, on Nov. 30, Jennings carried the ball 26 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He’s used to getting his fair share of carries, though it’s worth noting that his replacement when injured, Andre Williams, had a big game against the Titans. It was actually his best game of the season, as he carried the ball 24 times for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners should expect Jennings to shoulder a full workload in practice this week, and he should get plenty of carries against Washington on Sunday. That said, Williams likely earned himself his fair share of carries as well. Jennings is worth a fantasy start, but Washington has been decent against the run, and he’s more of a RB2 at this point.
