Rangers player has piece of ear ripped apart, scores game-winning goal

Kevin Klein helped the New York Rangers cap off a hard fought win over the Pittsburgh Penguins by scoring the game-winning goal in overtime.

This is noteworthy by itself, but becomes even more impressive once learning that Klein had his ear ripped earlier in the game and then returned to score the game-winning goal.

Klein said it required 13-14 stitches to reattach his ear. Fortunately the dried blood really accentuates the stylish Broadway Hat he received from his teammates as player of the game.

Looking good, Kev!
