Radja Nainggolan is doing it all for Roma, including scoring a fantastic goal

Radja Nainggolan is putting Roma on his back

While most people see a Roma player doing amazing things and expect it to be Francesco Totti or Daniele De Rossi, the man most often doing stunning things for Roma this season is actually Radja Nainggolan.

The Belgian midfielder was at it again today, using his sorely under-rated work rate to chase down a ball and making Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin look like a fool with his sumptuous dribbling, drawing a desperation challenge in the box. Perin was shown red for the foul and Roma had a penalty, turning the match to that point on its head as Perin had arguably been the best player on the pitch with the saves he had made.

Roma missed the penalty, but Nainggolan had still left an indelible mark on the match by getting Perin out of it just half an hour in. Then just ten minutes later, he did this:

It’s really hard to hit volleys that precisely, even harder when you’re stretching out across a defender like that. That’s a quality goal that someone should give Nainggolan film of so he can remember it and show it off for years to come.
