Oregon coaches seek out injured Anu Solomon after Pac-12 Championship win

Anu Solomon didn’t have the best Pac-12 Championship game. Oregon’s coaches made sure to give him some kind words before he hit the locker room.

Anu Solomon went 6-for-12 with 34 yards before being benched with an apparent injury in the Pac-12 Championship game while Oregon raced to a 51-13 win. But the Ducks’ coaches made sure they talked to the QB before he made it to the locker room:

As Anu Solomon hobbles to the locker room in a walking boot, Frost and then Helfrich run after him to offer words of encouragement.

A nice moment on what must’ve been a horrible night for Solomon. Between this and Devin Gardner’s moment with injured Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett, it seems sportsmanship might not be dead.
