NHL schedule 2014: Canucks vs. Canadiens highlights a full schedule

It should be an eventful Tuesday in the NHL with several intriguing matchups.

Following a lackluster Monday night in the NHL, the Tuesday schedule should more than make up for it. There are 10 games on the docket, including four between teams with at least 28 points. The highlight of the schedule will be played in Montreal where the Canadiens will host the Vancouver Canucks.

Although both teams are near the top of their division standings, the Canucks and Canadiens have hit a rough patch recently. Vancouver enters coming off back-to-back losses while Montreal has lost three in a row and has just three wins in its last 10 games. Montreal has been much better at home and will have a chance to get back on track playing at the Bell Centre.

If the game between the Canucks and Canadiens is the main course, the Maple Leafs hosting the Calgary Flames in Toronto is a solid appetizer. Calgary enters the game with 36 points, good for third in the Pacific division. The Maple Leafs are fourth in the Atlantic with 31 points.

The Blackhawks head into Tuesday riding a six game winning streak and Chicago will have a good opportunity to make it seven in a row on the road in New Jersey. The Devils are just 3-5-2 in their last 10 games while Chicago has won nine of its last 10.

Here is a complete look at the schedule. All times Eastern.
