NFL odds: Opening spreads for Week 16 betting

Green Bay among teams looking to bounce back from a loss last week in this week’s NFL opening odds.

The Green Bay Packers are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six games as a road favorite. The Packers will try to bounce back from a loss as a road favorite last week as a road favorite again this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Green Bay is a 11-point road favorite this Sunday on the Week 16 NFL betting lines. Tampa Bay is an abysmal 5-24 SU and 7-21-1 ATS in its last 29 games as a home underdog. The Packers were 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS over their previous 10 games before losing to Buffalo last Sunday as a 3.5-point favorite. Green Bay is tied for first in the NFC North with Detroit at 10-4 SU.

Buffalo visits the Oakland Raiders with its playoff hopes still alive coming off of the big upset win. The Bills will likely need wins in each of their last two games and help from around the AFC to sneak into the playoffs, but they are still mathematically in the picture at 8-6 SU. Oakland is 2-0 SU and ATS in its last two games as a home underdog and 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games against Buffalo according to the OddsShark NFL Database. Oakland will look for the upset as a 5.5-point home underdog on Sunday.

Dallas hosts Indianapolis on Sunday in a game that figures to have plenty of offense with Andrew Luck and Tony Romo set to duke it out. Something has to give in this one as the Colts are just 2-6 SU and 3-5 ATS as a road underdog and the Cowboys are 4-4 SU and 1-7 ATS as a home favorite. Dallas is going off at -3 at home.

With Pittsburgh and Baltimore both breathing down their necks with 9-5 SU records, the Cincinnati Bengals at 9-4-1 SU host the Denver Broncos on Monday in need of a win to keep their spot atop the AFC North. The Broncos enter this game with a 6-2 SU and ATS record in their last eight games as a road favorite, but Cincinnati is also tough at home with a 4-0 SU record in its last four games as a home underdog.
