Marshawn Lynch back at practice and should be in fantasy lineups this week
Marshawn Lynch practiced Thursday and will be fine for Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch returned to practice on Thursday, getting in a limited session. Lynch had his typical day of rest Wednesday and should be a full-go for Sunday’s Week 15 grudge match with the San Francisco 49ers.
Lynch is listed on the injury report with a back issue, but it hasn’t really limited him this season and he has not missed a game since the 2011 season. Lynch is playing his usual role as the Seahawks’ workhorse back, rushing for 1,042 yards and nine touchdowns and adding 33 catches for 324 yards and an additional four scores. This is Lynch’s fourth straight season with at least 1,000 rushing yards.
Fantasy impact: Barring a last-minute setback, Lynch should be just fine and has a good matchup with a reeling 49ers defense. The last time these teams met on Thanksgiving night, Lynch gashed the 49ers on the road for 111 total yards. Expect more of the same in front of the Seattle faithful. Lynch is a top-five running back for the fantasy playoffs.
