Jordan Cameron injury update: Browns’ TE likely to suit up for fantasy owners Sunday
Jordan Cameron took to social media to express his confidence in taking the field Sunday. We take a look at his fantasy value.
Jordan Cameron seems confident he’ll return to the field in Week 14. There have been no official updates from the Cleveland Browns or media, but Cameron took to Twitter to allude to his return.
Cameron has been sidelined for five weeks due to a concussion. His biggest game of the season was in Week 6, catching three passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. He failed to surpass 47 receiving yards through five of his six starts. With Josh Gordon back on the field, Cameron will be relied on to exploit the middle of the field.
Fantasy impact: There’s no doubt that Cameron is sorely needed in Cleveland. Miles Austin is out for the season, and Cameron offers a physical threat for short and intermediate passes. If the Browns hope to compete with the Indianapolis Colts, quarterback Brian Hoyer will need to incorporate Cameron in the passing game.
However, Hoyer has been struggling lately. Cameron’s production could be hindered by quarterback play. He’ll be on the low-end TE1 with a very appealing ceiling.
