Jim Harbaugh gives cryptic answer on post-2014 coaching future

No one actually thought he would answer these, right?

It’s getting close to decision time in San Francisco for head coach Jim Harbaugh. The 49ers are down to the final week of the season, and he’s playing extremely coy about where he’ll be next year, be it Michigan or another NFL team. So coy that he’s just ducking questions about his future entirely:

Jim Harbaugh on if it’s been hard to not respond to “12 months” of job speculation: “It’s a good question. It’s a very good question”

Jim Harbaugh: “I’m proud to report my future will always be bright with the family I have”

#Harbaugh: “What will happen, will happen. What won’t, won’t. I work at the pleasure of the organizaiton. I’ll let them have floor on that”

I mean, it’s probably unrealistic to expect Harbaugh to come out and say “Oh, I’m definitely taking the Michigan job next week, take care!”
