Jamaal Charles returns to practice, should be ready for fantasy owners
Jamaal Charles is back at practice and should be good to go for Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles returned to practice Thursday. Charles was only limited in his first practice this week, but he’s not expected to miss Sunday’s Week 15 game against the Oakland Raiders.
Charles is dealing with minor injuries to his knees and ankles and briefly left last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals, but he later returned to the game. For the most part, Charles has been his usual self this season, rushing for 898 yards on 5.2 yards per carry and catching 32 passes for 234 yards. He leads the league with 14 total touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy impact: Charles should be just fine this week, but fantasy owners should keep Knile Davis on standby if he has a setback. He has a tasty matchup with the Raiders — the last time these teams met in Week 12, Charles recorded 122 total yards and a touchdown on 23 touches. Fire him up as an easy RB1 for the fantasy semifinals.
