Isaiah Crowell limited in practice, expected to play for fantasy owners

Isaiah Crowell is limited with hip injury but is expected to play in Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell is listed as limited in Thursday’s practice with a hip injury. Crowell is fully expected to play in Sunday’s Week 14 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Crowell suffered the hip injury in Week 13 and did not practice on Wednesday. Despite the injury, the Browns have given no indication that he will miss a game. Crowell has emerged as the undisputed starter in recent weeks after the Browns tried out a rotation of him, Terrance West and Ben Tate. He has rushed for 475 yards and seven touchdowns on 107 carries in his rookie year.

Fantasy impact: Check Crowell’s status on Friday to make sure he doesn’t have any setbacks, but for now it looks like he’s going to play. West should be owned as a handcuff, but his fumbling issues have kept him on the bench. Crowell has RB2 upside against the Colts’ run defense if he’s cleared to play.
