Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 15: Charles Johnson

The Vikings’ wide receiver had his best game last week. Is he worth the start in Week 15?

Minnesota Vikings‘ wide receiver Charles Johnson had the best performance of his short career last week against the New York Jets, finishing the day with four catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. He would have had another touchdown had he not coughed up the ball at the goal line on one of his catches. He drew the start over Cordarrelle Patterson and finished the day with a team-high eight targets. The touchdown was his second in the last three weeks and Johnson has now established himself as the only Vikings’ receiver worthy of starting consideration.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson will have a much tougher matchup this week with the Detroit Lions. Their defense gives up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Running as the team’s number one receiver, Johnson is still in line to see a healthy amount of targets. Tight end Kyle Rudolph remains the only threat to vulture his end zone looks. Johnson is a WR3 with limited upside against Detroit.
