Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 14: Stedman Bailey

The Rams receiver has suddenly forced his way into fantasy relevance. Is he worth a start in Week 14?

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey has seemingly come out of nowhere and suddenly finds himself in the conversation as a potential fantasy starter. The sophomore receiver had only eight receptions for 86 yards and no touchdowns in the first 11 weeks of the season, which also included four goose eggs. Then he finished Week 12 with a 7/89/1 line and followed up with a 5/100 line last week. It’s worth noting that all of this production came about with Shaun Hill under center instead of rookie Austin Davis. Hill’s veteran stability has gone a long way with Bailey and the receiver suddenly has a much brighter season outlook.

Fantasy Impact: It shouldn’t be hard for Bailey to keep the momentum going against Washington. Their defense gives up the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. While Bailey is still technically behind Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin on the depth chart, he’s worth a start as a back-end WR3 with upside.
