Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 17: Marqise Lee worth a flier?

The Jaguars’ passing game had little to offer in Week 16, but Lee at least stood out at times. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marqise Lee caught four passes for 65 yards against the Tennessee Titans in Week 16. The rookie wide receiver led the team in both categories and tied for second in targets.

Blake Bortles managed to throw for just 115 yards on Thursday night, so Lee’s performance accounted for a good amount of the Jaguars passing game.

Fantasy impact: Lee managed double-digit fantasy points in PPR scoring for the third time in four weeks. He made a few nice plays after the catch against the Titans and he was the only Jaguars receiver that stood out.

The Jaguars face the Houston Texans in Week 17. Their secondary is currently allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. Lee will be a dice-roll flex play in deeper PPR leagues. His dynasty value still remains relatively high, but next year, he could be working behind Allen Robinson and Justin Blackmon.
