Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 14: Cole Beasley scores two touchdowns

Beasley scored twice on Thursday night in Chicago. Is he worth adding? We break down the fantasy implications.

Cole Beasley caught three passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears. He nearly finished Thursday night with three scores, as he was stopped at the Bears 1-yard line on his other reception.

The matchup against Chicago’s weak secondary looked promising for the Cowboys passing game, but few could have predicted a two-score night from Beasley. He tied Jason Witten for the third-most targets on the team.

Fantasy impact: Remember Terrance Williams? Neither does Tony Romo. Beasley saw a season-high seven targets in Week 13, and he followed that up with the highest-scoring fantasy performance of his career. He’s moved up to No. 4 in the pecking order.

Should you consider adding Beasley? Probably not. Once you get past the workload of DeMarco Murray and the targets for Dez Bryant, you’re still left feeding Jason Witten a bit. Beasley could have value in deep leagues against a bad Eagles secondary next week, though.
