Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Kendall Wright
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright is dealing with a hand injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright is dealing with a hand injury and has missed the team’s past two games. Wright was a limited participant in practicing leading up to Thursday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. His status has been up in the air all week, though most feel as though he’ll be returning for the matchup.
Wright has caught 51 passes for 633 yards and five touchdowns this season. Those aren’t huge numbers, but he’s been consistent throughout the year when active. That’s while playing for a Titans team that has just two wins and ranks No. 22 in the league in passing yardage, with just 221 passing yards per game.
Fantasy Impact: Wright is actually second on the team behind tight end Delanie Walker, who has 793 yards off of 52 receptions. Obviously, the Titans have a much better chance of winning if Wright is playing, but does he have any fantasy value? Probably, though there’s not a ton to work with there. With just a week to go, fantasy lineups are incredibly important, so Wright shouldn’t be more than a WR3 in deep leagues, provided he’s active for the game.
