Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Jonathan Stewart is still healthy

Jonathan Stewart should be the main man this week. Should fantasy owners use him?

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart has been hot lately. The Panthers have figured out how to score and move the ball on the ground, which has led to Stewart getting some heavy work. Running back DeAngelo Williams is only expected to be available for emergency situations, so it should be Stewart getting almost all of the carries on Sunday.

In the past two weeks, he’s gotten 42 total carries for 230 rushing yards. The Panthers won both games, and quarterback Cam Newton is also back this week after missing Week 15.

As for the matchup, the Cleveland Browns have looked bad lately, allowing a whopping 244 yards on the ground to the Cincinnati Bengals. This game is in Carolina, so there are not really many negatives here for Stewart.

Fantasy impact: He isn’t the safest option and is quite the injury-prone back, but Stewart should be viewed as a solid RB2.
