Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Jeremy Maclin is good to go

Jeremy Maclin could have a nice game against Washington. We break down the fantasy implications.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has been dialed in all season, racking up 1,207 yards, 10 scores and 78 catches on 131 targets. He’s been the No. 8 receiver in PPR leagues and has shown no setbacks after his ACL tear from last season.

Maclin hasn’t been quite as great with quarterback Mark Sanchez under center. He’s only scored once in the past four games and averaged only 71.5 yards per game. However, he has a great matchup on the horizon. He had his third-best game against Washington back in Week 3, catching eight passes for 154 yards and one score.

Washington is the sixth-best matchup for fantasy receivers and have been trending down. Odell Beckham Jr. lit them up last week and the Indianapolis Colts receivers had three scores against them in Week 13, too.

Fantasy impact: Sanchez does hurt Maclin, but you still have to start him. He’s a mid-level WR1.
