Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Fred Jackson looks ready
C.J. Spiller is on the active roster. Should fantasy owners of Fred Jackson worry?
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson still figures to be the main man. The Bills did activate running back C.J. Spiller, though, and he figures to be on the on the active roster against the Oakland Raiders. Spiller has been out since Oct. 19 and has been extremely injury prone, so the team is highly unlikely to give him more than eight carries or so.
Meanwhile, Jackson ran the ball 20 times last week, which is the second time he’s had 20-plus in the last three weeks. Jackson is also being used a lot in the passing game, so the touches will likely climb to at least 20 again. He gets a great matchup, as the Raiders rank as the second-easiest opponent for fantasy running backs. The Kansas City Chiefs‘ backs put up 38 fantasy points against them last week and the St. Louis Rams also torched them three weeks ago, too.
Fantasy impact: Jackson is a low-end RB1 in PPR and a high-end RB2 in standard.
