Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Alfred Morris should have success

Alfred Morris might have more value with the quarterback change. Should fantasy owners use him?

Washington running back Alfred Morris should have plenty of carries going his way against the Philadelphia Eagles. While running back Roy Helu is practicing this week, his team should look to run the ball a little more.

Washington did use Morris a ton the past two seasons, but the scheme and quarterback changes led to him falling off. Morris rushed for an an average of 1,444 yards per season, but he’s sitting at just 948 despite not missing any games due to injury. He is coming in extremely cold with just 55 rushing yards combined over his past two games.

The Philadelphia Eagles are a so-so matchup on the season for running backs. and they held Morris to 77 yards on 23 carries back in Week 3. While the Eagles are trending down a bit in their last two games, those matchups were tough ones against the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy impact: Morris is more of a mid-level RB2 in standard leagues and a flex in PPR. He’s going to have to fight off Roy Helu for touches.
