Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Mark Sanchez

The Seahawks shut down Mark Sanchez last week. Should fantasy owners expect him to bounce back?

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez was held in check against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14. He only had 96 yards passing with two scores and one pick in a loss. It was his second disastrous game in his last four with a blowout loss against the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 16.

In between those two duds, Sanchez had one of his best games against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. He threw for 217 yards, one score and ran for a TD in the easy win. The Cowboys are coming in with no momentum on defense with quarterbacks scoring at least 22 points in each of their last three games. The Cowboys have also been dreadful on the road lately, so everything seems to be setting up nicely for Sanchez.

Fantasy impact: He’s far from a lock and there is always risk when it comes to Sanchez. He should be considered as a low-end QB1 with upside.
