Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Kenny Stills
Kenny Stills and the Saints were embarrassed in Week 14. Should his fantasy owners expect him to get it turned around?
New Orleans Saints receiver Kenny Stills let everyone down last week against the Carolina Panthers. He was expected to go off against a vulnerable secondary, but could only muster three catches for 23 yards in a 41-10 loss. Stills was coming off a 162-yard, one-score game in Week 12 and moved up in the receiving pecking order because of the thumb injury to receiver Brandin Cooks.
This week, he’ll get another great matchup against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The Bears are the 11th-easiest matchup for fantasy receivers and have been particularly awful since their Week 9 bye, allowing a whopping eight touchdowns to receivers in those games. Teams with strong passing attacks have lit them up just about every time. Recently, the Detroit Lions receivers caught 21 passes against them back on Thanksgiving.
Fantasy impact: There shouldn’t be a major factor with the wind, so Stills remains a solid WR2 play this week. He should get a pass for his Week 14 dud — like all the offensive guys on the Saints.
