Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Drew Stanton cannot be counted on

Drew Stanton is showing signs of improvement. Should fantasy owners trust him this week?

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Standon got himself a win last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. He didn’t turn the ball over and threw for 239 yards and one score, but he’s going to have a tough time on Thursday.

The Cardinals are heading to Missouri to face the St. Louis Rams, which spells trouble. They’ve been the ninth-toughest matchup for fantasy quarterbacks and are also coming in red hot. They have allowed negative fantasy points to quarterbacks in their last two games combined.

Plus, Stanton is just awful on the road. The Rams should have no trouble getting pressure on him, which should lead to a lot of turnovers. The short week is not going to help him and most teams tend to struggle when they’re on the road.

Fantasy impact: There is just no way fantasy owners can count on him. He’s more of a QB25-30 this week in the majority of formats.
