Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Mike Wallace

Mike Wallace and the Dolphins get themselves a nice matchup. Should fantasy owners take advantage?

Surprisingly, Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace doesn’t have a single 100-yard day on the season. His season high was 81 yards in Week 1, but at least he’s been consistent with at least 35 yards in every game and multiple catches in each. He’s obviously not the home-run hitter he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers and only has 12.2 yards per catch on the year.

The big game could be coming against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The Ravens are the second-best matchup for fantasy receivers and lately have been even worse than that stat suggests. In their last four games they have allowed eight touchdowns to receivers, and they’ve given up 250 yards or more in three of those four. Plus, this is a home game for the Dolphins.

Wallace will have to worry about receiver Jarvis Landry taking away some targets from him, but there should be plenty of big plays on the table.

Fantasy impact: Wallace had some success against Baltimore a couple seasons ago and he should turn in a big game this time. He’s a WR13-18 this week.
