Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Joique Bell

Joique Bell finally busted loose on Thanksgiving. Should fantasy owners have confidence in him again?

Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell feasted against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving, rushing for 91 yards, two scores and adding two receptions for 16 yards in the passing game.

Surprisingly, Bell was very quiet leading up to that game, failing to score in any of his previous four games while unable to clear the 50 yards plateau on the ground, too. Bell should be busy with at least 15 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14.

The Bucs haven’t done a great job at stopping the run lately, allowing 98.5 yards per game on the ground. The Lions will likely take care of business on defense, so look for Bell to get a lot of carries in the second half to help them play the clock game.

Fantasy impact: Bell is a very strong RB2 in standard leagues at home. He’s also more of a low-end RB1 in PPR formats, with a very high floor.
