College football weekend schedule: TV/streaming for bowls, FCS playoffs and more

Three national champions will be decided this weekend.

Bowl season officially kicks off this weekend with five games on Saturday, but there’s plenty of other college football action to satisfy your viewing needs this weekend. Three national champions will be crowned, and we’ll also find out the finalists in the FCS playoffs.

The NAIA championship will kick things off Friday afternoon, with Marian (Ind.) and Southern Oregon playing for the title. Later that night, Wisconsin-Whitewater and Mount Union play in their nearly annual matchup in the Division III championship, while underdog Sam Houston State plays three-time defending FCS champion North Dakota State in the semis later that night.

Bowl season starts Saturday, with Nevada and Louisiana-Lafayette in the New Orleans Bowl. The other two FCS semifinalists, Illinois State and New Hampshire, play later that afternoon, while the New Mexico Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl, Potato Bowl and Camellia Bowl kick off throughout the day. There is one other championship game Saturday: Division II, where Colorado State-Pueblo and Minnesota State-Mankato each vie to win its first-ever crown.
