Boise State scores on another Fiesta Bowl Statue of Liberty, 8 years later
Up multiple touchdowns, Boise State called back to the most famous moment in school history.
Earlier this season, new Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin came through with a bit of a call-back to the Broncos’ previous era by scoring against Wyoming on a Statue of Liberty play. Wednesday against Arizona in the Fiesta Bowl, they did it again.
That score made it 21-0 Boise State, so it wasn’t quite the same as the Broncos’ memorable game-winning two-point conversion against Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, when Harsin was the offensive coordinator. Still really cool!
