2015 GoDaddy Bowl, Arkansas State vs. Toledo: Date, time, location and more
Two of the top teams from non-major conferences will square off in the last game before the championship.
The GoDaddy Bowl, previously the Mobile Alabama Bowl, the GMAC Mobile Alabama Bowl, the GMAC Bowl and the GoDaddy.com Bowl, has been around since 1999. Now a matchup between Sun Belt and MAC teams, Conference-USA and the ACC have at one point sent squads to Ladd-Peebles Stadium for the bowl, which moved from mid-December to early January before the 2006 season. Arkansas State has made four straight appearances now against three different MAC representatives, winning the last two editions of the game.

Arkansas State Red Wolves (7-5, 5-3 SEC)
Arkansas State broke in a new head coach for the fourth straight year this season, but Blake Anderson put together the Red Wolves’ lowest win total since 2010. Part of that was due to a tougher non-conference schedule, faced with games against Tennessee and Miami, but Arkansas State lost games to Appalachian State and Texas State down the stretch.
The Red Wolves had one of the stronger offenses in the Sun Belt this season, scoring 36.1 points per game. Quarterback Fredi Knight passed for 19 touchdowns while rushing for 11 more, while running back Michael Gordon ran for over 1,000 yards with 13 touchdowns this season.

All-time bowl record: 2-2
Head coach’s bowl record:Blake Anderson, 0-0
Toledo Rockets (8-4, 7-1 MAC)
Toledo was one of the very best teams in the MAC this season, but a three-point loss to eventual West Division champions Northern Illinois kept them from a chance at the conference title. The Rockets won games against Central Michigan, Western Michigan and Bowling Green, and blew out No. 1 FCS seed New Hampshire — not an easy feat.
Toledo has a balanced offense focused around a strong running game. Their top four rushers average at least 5.2 yards per carry, led by Kareem Hunt, who has 1,360 yards on 173 carries with 11 touchdowns.
