Atlanta Hawks vs. Indiana Pacers

The Atlanta Hawks look to close out their series against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night in Game 6. The Pacers are -1 point favorites over the Pacers with an over/under point total set at 187.
Head to head, the Pacers are 5-13 ATS in the last 18 meetings in Atlanta while the road team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings and the favorite is 27-12-1 ATS in the last 40 meetings. The Hawks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Pacers on the other hand are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss, but just 7-22 ATS in their last 29 road games and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
The No.1 seeded Indiana Pacers enter tonight’s game against the eighth seeded Atlanta Hawks on the brink of elimination, down 3-2 in the best of seven series. If you said those exact words during the first half of the regular season, nearly everybody (minus the most passionate of Hawks fans) in the universe would of said you were crazy. Atlanta won just 38 games in the regular season under first-year head coach Mike Budenholzer and they are without their best player in Al Horford, yet, they have out played a Pacers squad that has been in fre fall for the last couple on months for no apparent reason.
So can Paul George and company even the series and force a Game 7 back in Indiana? Well, they were victorious in their last game in Atlanta, winning 91-88 in Game 4 thanks to 24 points and 10 rebounds from the aformentioned George. While the Pacers will be playing for their playoff life, the Hawks won’t be taking things easy either because the last thing they want to do is head back to Indiana for Game 7. Actually, they probably wouldn’t mind considering they have won three of four in Indiana by an average of 12 points per contest.
This could be the toughest game to predict in the playoffs yet. I really don’t know what’s going to happen tonight. While I would like to take Atlanta, I just have to think that the Pacers leave everything on the line tonight to force a Game 7
