Los Angeles Clippers vs. Milwaukee Bucks

The Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks face off on Monday at the Staples Center in NBA basketball action. The Clippers are -16 point favorites over the Bucks with an over/under point total set at 209.5.
The Los Angeles Clippers have won nine of their last 10 games and they are in the third playoff position in the Western Conference. LA has been impressive at home going 30-5 and they are three games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder in the loss column to move into the second playoff spot. Blake Griffin is leading the Clippers averaging 24.4 points and 9.7 rebounds. Chris Paul is averaging 18.9 points and 11 rebounds, Jamal Crawford is averaging 18.5 points, and DeAndre Jordan is averaging 10.2 points and 13.7 rebounds per game. The Clippers are averaging 107.6 points and they are shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 35 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 100.4 points and their opponents are shooting 44.1 percent. The Clippers are looking like a definite contender out of the West.
The Milwaukee Bucks have the worst overall record in the NBA and have lost seven games in a row and nine of their last 10. The Bucks are coming off of a horrible loss on Sunday getting blown out by 17 points by Sacramento. Brandon Knight is the Bucks leading scorer averaging 17.7 points per game. Khris Middleton is averaging 11.9 points, O.J. Mayo is averaging 11.6 points, and John Henson is averaging 11 points and 7.4 rebounds. Milwaukee is averaging 95 points and they are shooting 43.2 percent and 35.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they allow 103.1 points and their opponents are shooting 46.7 percent. The Bucks will surely get some help this year in a very deep NBA Draft that they will have a very high pick in.
Los Angeles is 4-1 against the spread against the spread against the NBA Central, 1-3-1 against the spread against a team with a losing record, and 7-2-1 against the spread on one days’ rest. Milwaukee is 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 road games, 1-5 against the spread against the Pacific, and 6-14 against the spread on 0 days rest. The favorite has covered the point spread in six of the last seven meetings of these two.
The total is set at 209.5 and I like for this one to come in under that so the under is my pick.
Under 209.5
