Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins face off on Sunday in Orchard Park for a week 16 NFL matchup. The Dolphins are -2.5 point favorites over the Bills with an over/under point total set at 44.5.
The Buffalo Bills made a few big plays inside their five yard line on Sunday as they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars and end a two game losing skid. The Bills have lost of their last seven but they do own a win over the Dolphins in Miami earlier this season. E.J. Manuel has completed 58.8 percent of his passes with 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Fred Jackson has rushed for 725 yards and seven touchdowns and he has 42 receptions and C.J. Spiller has rushed for 745 yards and he has 25 receptions. Steve Johnson has 52 catches and Scott Chandler has 48 receptions. Kiko Alonso leads the Bills defense with 137 tackles, Aaron Williams has 82 tackles, and Mario Williams has 12 sacks. The Bills are averaging 21.4 points and 330.5 yards per game while defensively they are allowing 25.3 points and their opponents are gaining 346.4 yards per game. The Bills are looking at another high pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
The Miami Dolphins are tied for the final Wildcard spot in the AFC but they need to win and then they need some help to make the playoffs. The Dolphins lost to the Ravens but with Baltimore playing the Patriots and the Bengals they have the much tougher schedule remaining. Ryan Tannehill has completed 62.4 percent of his passes for 3,627 yards with 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Lamar Miller has rushed for 628 yards and he has 25 receptions while Daniel Thomas looks to be rejuvenated since returning from his injury. Brian Hartline has 72 receptions for 925 yards, Mike Wallace has 64 receptions, and Charles Clay has 61 receptions and six touchdowns. Phillip Wheeler has 95 tackles, Reshad Jones has 86 tackles, and Olivier Vernon has 11.5 sacks. The Dolphins are averaging 22.1 points and 329.1 yards per game while defensively they are allowing 21.1 points and 356.1 yards per game. Coming off of a win against New England the Dolphins are playing their best football of the season.
Buffalo is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight home games, 4-1 against the spread against the AFC East, and 5-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record. Miami is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games, 5-0 against the spread against the AFC, and 5-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record. The favorite has covered the point spread in four of the last five meetings of these two.
