UCLA Bruins vs. Washington Huskies

The UCLA Bruins and the Washington Huskies face off on Friday Night for a Pac-12 college football matchup. The Bruins are -3 point favorites over the Huskies with an over/under point total set at 62.
The UCLA Bruins have their destiny in their own hands; if the Bruins win out their regular season schedule they go to the Pac-12 Championship game and if they win that game they go to the Rose Bowl. While the formula seems simple for UCLA, the task at hand isn’t as they still have tough matchups ahead and even if they do make it to the Pac-12 Title Game their likely opponents look to be Stanford or Oregon, both teams that have beaten UCLA this season. The Bruins are coming off of a road win against Arizona where while the score looked fairly close in the end, it never really was a very close game o the field. QB Brett Hundley who has completed 68.5 percent of his passes this season for 2,225 yards and 18 touchdowns with 8 interceptions and he has rushed for 487 yards and seven touchdowns leads the UCLA offense. Jordan James has rushed for 471 yards and five touchdowns and he has been banged up most of the season. Shaquell Evans has 34 catches and seven touchdowns and Devin Fuller has 36 catches and four touchdowns. Eric Kendricks leads the UCLA defense with 78 twackles, Anthony Barr has six sacks, and Ishmael Adams has four interceptions. The UCLA offense averages 36.6 points and 463.6 yards per game while defensively they are allowing 22.9 points and 391 yards. UCLA’s two loses come to the top two teams in the Pac-12 and two of the top teams in the nation in Stanford and Oregon,
The Washington Huskies are 6-3 on the season with two of their three losses coming on the road. Washington is coming off of a bye week so they have had plenty of time to prepare for what they might face in this one. QB Keith Price has completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 2,481 yards with 18 touchdowns and four interceptions and he has also rushed for four touchdowns. UW has one of the top running backs in the nation in Bishop Sankey who has rushed for 1,305 yards and 13 touchdowns nd he has 20 receptions and a receiving touchdown. Jaydon Mickens has 50 catches and four touchdowns, Kevin Smith has 35 catches, and Kasen Williams has 29 catches. Princeton Fulmoano has 62 tackles, Sean Parker has four interceptions, and Hau’oll Kikaha has six sacks. Washington is averaging 37.2 points and 515.9 yards per game and they are allowing 21.8 points and 381.9 yards.
UCLA is 5-1 against the spread following a win, 4-1 against the spread following a game in which they covered the spread, and 13-4 against the spread in their last 17 home games against a team with a winning road record. Washington is 4-0 against the spread following a win, 4-10 against the spread in their last 14 road games, and 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning home record. Washington is 4-9 against the spread in the last 13 meetings of these two.
This seems like a lot of points against these defenses and while the offenses can move the ball and have some star quality the total looks to be too high and my pick in on the under.

Under 62
