Cal is 5-17 against the spread in their last 22 games, 2-9 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 1-8 against the spread in their last nine home games. USC is 7-15 against the spread in their last 22 games, 1-5 against the spread following a cover, and 1-10 against the spread in their last 11 road games. The Road team has covered the point spread in 12 of the last 17 meetings of these two.
USC has played well of late but their win on national TV on a Friday Night at Oregon State has skewed the line here making taking Cal and the points the play.
