Washington Huskies vs. California Golden Bears

The Washington Huskies and the Cal Golden Bears face off on Saturday in Washington in a Pac-12 college football matchup. The Huskies are -23 point favorites over the Golden Bears.
The Washington Huskies got off to a 4-0 start to the season but they have lost their last here games in a row. The Washington offense is averaging 33.6 points and 481.9 yards per game and they have turned the ball over nine times. QB Keith Price is questionable for this one but he has completed 64.5 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions and he has been sacked 19 times. Bishop Sankey is averaging 5.4 yards and per carry and he has 10 touchdowns and he is 79 rushing yards away from 1,000 for the season. Jaydon Mickens has 39 receptions and two touchdowns, Kasen Williams has 28 catches, and Kevin Smith has 26 catches and three touchdowns. The UW defense allows 24.6 points and 379.3 yards per game with eight interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and 19 sacks. Princeton Fulmaono has 56 tackles, Shaq Thompson has 47 tackles, and John Timu has 42 tackles. Washington can still land in a nice bowl if they can string some wins together.
The Cal Golden Bears are having a season to forget winning just one game thus far. The Cal offense is averaging 23.7 points and 466.3 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 22 times. Jared Goff has completed 60.4 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions and he has been sacked 21 times. Brendan Bigelow is averaging 3.7 yards per carry and he has 17 receptions and Baniel Lasco averages 4.6 yards per carry with two touchdowns. Chris Harper has 52 catches and four touchdowns, Bryce Treggs has 46 catches and a touchdown, and Richard Rodgers has 24 catches. The Cal defense is allowing 44.4 points and 525.4 yards per game and they have four interceptions, seven fumble recoveries, and nine sacks. Khairi Fortt has 50 tackles, Hardy Nickerson has 48 tackles, and Damariay Drew has 36 tackles. Cal is worse than they have been in quite some time.
Washington is 9-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record, 13-3 against the spread in their last 16 home games, and 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 games. Cal is 8-20 against the spread in their last 28 Pac-12 games, 5-17 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 4-17 against the spread following a loss. Cal hasn’t covered the point spread in the last four meetings of these two.
This is a big number for a team who has lost three in a row but Cal is this bad and expect Washington to roll them up.
