Mississippi Rebels vs. Texas A&M Aggies

The Ole Miss Rebels and the Texas A&M Aggies face off on Saturday in a SEC college football battle. The Aggies are -8 point favorites over the Rebels with an over/under of 78.
The Ole Miss Rebels have played just one home game this season and coming of back to back losses they are hoping a return home means better news when it comes to wins and losses. The Ole Miss offense is averaging 27.2 points and 427.8 yards per game. QB Bo Wallace has completed 59 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and two interceptions and he has also rushed for three touchdowns. Jeff Scott is averaging 8.7 yards per carry with two touchdowns and he also has 13 receptions. Laquon Treadwell has 24 catches to lead Ole Miss, Donte Moncrief has 23 catches and four touchdowns, and Evan Ingram and Ja-Mes Logan have 15 catches each. Defensively Ole Miss is allowing 25.2 points and 361.4 yards with four interceptions, five sacks, and four fumble recoveries. Serdarius Bryant has 43 tackles, Mike Hilton has 28 tackles, and Cody Prewitt has 27 tackles. Ole Miss knew they were up against it with the schedule they have and they have yet another opportunity for a very big win.
The Texas A&M aggies are coming off of a bye week and so far this season they have just one loss, at home to Alabama. The Texas A&M offense is averaging 49.2 points and 586.4 yards per game. Johnny Manziel may not be helping his reputation off of the field but on the field he has been sensational once again completing 71.4 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions and he has rushed for 314 yards and three touchdowns. Ben Malena anchors the backfield averaging 5.3 yards per carry with seven touchdowns and Tra Carson is averaging 5.6 yards per carry with four touchdowns. Mike Evans leads the Aggies with 28 catches and five touchdowns, Malcome Kennedy has 23 catches and four touchdowns, and Derel Walker has 19 catches. Defensively Texas A&M allows 30.8 points and 476.8 yards per game with seven interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and four sacks. Howard Matthews has 36 tackles, Deshazor Everett has 31 tackles, and Clay Honeycutt has 30 tackles. The Aggie defense isn’t what it was a year ago but with Johnny Football running the offense they will try and outscore everyone they play.
Ole Miss is 5-11 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 5-2 against the spread following a loss, and 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games against a team with a winning road record. Texas A&M is 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games, 5-1 against the spread in their last six SEC games, and 5-2 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
Expect to see a ton of offense and even more big plays and while the total is set sky high, I can still se an over in this spot.
