Brenton Williams is averaging 10 points, Bruce Ellington is averaging 9.8 points, and Michael Carrera is averaging 10.4 points and 7.2 rebounds. This is South Carolina’s last home game of the season and a season Gamecock fans would like to forget.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are coming off of a win, a win that ended a 12 game losing streak. MSU is 3-13 in the SEC, 1-10 on the road, and are part of the three-way logjam in last place in the conference standings. As a team Mississippi State is averaging 59.7 points, 9.7 assists, and they are shooting 39.7 percent while defensively they are allowing 69.5 points, 14.8 assists, and their opponents are shooting 43.9 percent. Craig Sword is averaging 9.7 points, Fred Thomas is averaging 9.4 points, and Gavin Ware is averaging 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds. Mississippi State has been absolutely miserable on the court this season.

There isn’t a good option in this one but South Carolina is clearly the better of the two.
