Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Auburn Tigers

The Vanderbilt Commodores and the Auburn Tigers face off on Wednesday in Nashville in a SEC college basketball match up. The Commodores are -3 point favorites over the Tigers with an over/under point total set at 121.
The Vanderbilt Commodores are coming off of a solid road win at South Carolina gaining their first SEC win of the season. Vandy is just 4-4 at home this season, 1-3 in SEC play, and they have played the 34th ranked schedule in the country. Kedren Johnson is averaging 15.1 points, Kyle Fuller is averaging 10.6 points, and Rod Odom is averaging 9.3 points. Vandy is two games below .500 overall so they will need a strong end to the season to make a lower rung post season tourney.
The Auburn Tigers have been competitive for the better part of the season but they have lost their last two games. Auburn is 2-2 in the SEC, 1-2 on the road this season, and they have played the 152nd ranked schedule in the nation. Frankie Sullivan is averaging 17.4 points, Rob Chubb is averaging 10.1 points and 7.8 rebounds, and Allen Payne is averaging 8.6 points. Auburn still has plenty of work to do until they are competitive on an every game basis.
