Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers face off on Sunday in Dallas in a game both teams need to keep their playoff hopes bright. The Steelers are -1.5 point favorites over the Cowboys with an over/under point total set at 44.5.
The Dallas Cowboys suffered through shocking grief a week ago but they rallied coming from nine points down to beat the Bengals in Cincinnati. Tony Romo has completed 66.3 percent of his passes with 20 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while being sacked 31 times. Demarco Murray is averaging 3.9 yards per carry with three touchdowns and he has 25 catches and he is healthy once again. Jason Witten has 92 catches, Dez Bryany has 75 catches and nine touchdowns, and Miles Austin has 55 catches and five touchdowns. Defensively the Cowboys allow 24.2 points per game, 118.8 rushing yards, and 217.8 passing yards with six interceptions and 29 sacks. Anthony Spencer has 76 tackles and 8.5 sacks, Bruce Carter has 70 tackles, and DeMarcus Ware has 11 sacks. Dez Bryant injured his hand and it is still uncertain what his status will be for this game and the rest of the season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been a tough team to figure out this season winning when most count them out and losing in what seem to be winnable games. Ben Roethlisberger returned last week and for the season he has completed 64.5 percent of his passes with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions while being sacked 20 times. Jonathan Dwyer is averaging 4.2 yards per carry and Isaac Redman is averaging 3.6 yards per carry with two touchdowns. Heath Miller has 61 catches and seven touchdowns, Mike Wallace has 59 catches and eight touchdowns, and Antonio Brown has 51 catches and two touchdowns. The Steelers defense allows 20.3 points per game, 93.2 rushing yards, and 169.2 passing yards with Seven interceptions and 26 sacks. Larry Foote has 91 tackles, Lawrence Timmons has 84 tackles, and Troy Polamalu has been back and should continue to help out the defense. Few teams know how to get wins when they need them like the Steelers and we will find out what they are made of here.
Dallas is 5-17 against the spread in their last 22 home games, 3-13 against the spread following a win, and 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games overall. Pittsburgh is 11-2 against the spread following a loss, 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 road games, and 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games overall.
The Steelers have known how to get wins in key spots in recent years and the Cowboys have seemed to find a way to lose them and with a small spread the Steelers on the road are the choice here.
