Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs look to continue their dominance on the road against the Sacramento Kings tonight.  The Spurs are -9 point favorites over the Kings with an over/under point total set at 191.

Head to head, road team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings. The Kigns are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest, but just 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The Spurs on the other hand are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 0 days rest, 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 road games and 33-15-3 ATS in their last 51 games overall.

If you had bet on the Spurs in every game this season, you would be a pretty rich man. At 44-16 overall and 37-20-3 against the spread, San Antonio continues to impress and they should be the favorites to take out the title, hands down. The Spurs are 19-11 on the road this season, which looks decent enough, but lets take a closer look at things. San Antonio is a ridiculous 17-3 in their last 20 games away from home, but that’s not it. In two of those losses at Portland and Utah, they rested all of their stars, so you could make a very strong case that the Spurs could be 19-1 in thier last 20 road games, which is just insane. The Kings on the other hand I’m not even going to waste my breath on.

I like the Spurs to win this game by a large margin and will by laying the nine points here.
