Milwaukee Bucks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The Milwaukee Bucks look for their fifth straight win as they play host to Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are -3 point favorites over the Thunder with an over/under point total set at 210.
Head to head, the Thunder are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings and 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Milwaukee, while the home team is 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings. The Bucks are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games overall, but just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games. The Thunder on the other hand are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 and 20-7 ATS in their last 27 vs. Eastern Conference.
I would have preferred if the Thunder were riding a four game losing heading into this game, however as it stands, I still like them here. Milwaukee is playing great basketball at the moment as they have won four straight and 13 of their last 17 overall to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot. Having said that, they have faced some very weak competition in that stretch as only two of those 13 wins have come against teams likely to make the playoffs in Atlanta and New York, hence why their against the spread stats against the better teams in the league are so poor.
Having just lost three straight games, Oklahoma is coming one of their worst stretches of the season, however let’s not forget what this team has been doing all season. The Thunder is still one of the top three teams in the league and after dropping a couple of the road, look for a good performance out of Durant and co. The Bucks are a nice team, but they fall short in this one.
