Los Angeles Clippers vs. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks return home to face Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.  The Knicks are -2.5 point favorites over the Clippers with an over/under point total set at 193.

Head to head, the Clippers are 5-11 ATS in the last 16 meetings, while the road team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings and the underdog is 8-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings. The Knicks are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games as a home favorite, 19-7 ATS in their last 26 home games and 17-6 ATS in their last 23 games overall. The Clippers on the other hand are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss, but just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Eastern Conference.

Luckily for us fans we still have some games left with a bit of meaning to them, and this is one of them. The Knicks are currently sitting in seventh spot in the East, however they could fall to eighth with a loss, or jump past Orlando into sixth if everything falls right. With their loss in Atlanta last night, the Clippers can’t take out the Pacific Division, however they can still secure home court advantage over Memphis with a win tonight.

How can you not like the Knicks in this one? With plenty still to play for, New York should be rested and ready to go against a Clippers team that still has major issues winning away from home. Not only have the Knicks been piling up the wins, but they have also been super impressive against the spread for a while now. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will get there’s, but that didn’t really help them last night in their loss to the Hawks. New York all the way here.
