Golden St. Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies return home to face the Golden State Warriors tonight.  The Grizzlies are -7.5 point favorites over the Warriors with an over/under point total set at 198.5.

Head to head, the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The Grizzlies are 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 games playing on 0 days rest, but just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite of 5.0-10.5 and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The Warriors on the other hand are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games.

Against the spread wise, the Warriors have the Grizzlies covered here as they own superior stats across the board. However, Memphis is really starting to hit their straps, as indicated by their win over the league’s hottest team in Oklahoma City last night. The Grizzlies have now won four of five both straight up and against the spread and with Zach Randolph getting back into game shape, they should be peeking right for playoff time.

To their credit, the Warriors have still been competitive, despite starting to D-League caliber players at the two most important positions, center and point guard. I do worry because Memphis is coming off a big road win just last night, however with Randolph and Mayo coming off the bench, they should be too much for the pesky Warriors here. Take the Grizzlies here!
