Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Charlotte Bobcats

Two cellar dwellers collide in Cleveland as the Cavaliers host the slumping Charlotte Bobcats.  The Cavaliers are -6 point favorites over the Bobcats with an over/under point total set at 191.5.

Head to head, the Bobcats are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings and the underdog is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings. The Cavaliers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record, 8-22 ATS in their last 30 games as a home favorite and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Bobcats on the other hand are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record, but just 9-22 ATS in their last 31 games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5 and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games playing on 0 days rest.

Not only do the Cavaliers and Bobcats suck in real life, but also against the spread as it is virtually impossible to find any positives amongst the two teams. Just to show you how bad these teams have been recently, they only have one win in their last 23 combined games, an 84-80 Cleveland win over Toronto late last week.

As bad as Charlotte have been, three of their last six losses have been decided by five points or less. On the flipside, their other three losses have come by an average of 25 points. I would usually take the points in this kind of contest, however how can you possibly make a case for the Bobcats after their 28 point home loss to the lowly Washington Wizards last night. Just to put it into perspective how bad a loss that was, the Wizards have the second worst record in the entire league, only worse than the Bobcats.
