Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat

The Miami Heat looks to continue their dominance over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.  The Heat are -7.5 point favorites over the Raptors with an over/under point total set at 191.5.

Head to head, the Heat are 6-17 ATS in the last 23 meetings and 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Toronto, while the underdog is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings. The Raptors are 11-2-1 ATS in their last 14 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 home games. The Heat on the other hand are 24-10 ATS in their last 34 road games vs. a team with a losing home record, but just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 0 days rest.

There’s no doubting the Heat is one of the elite teams in the league, however their record on the road this season would suggest otherwise. Sporting a record of 15-11 away from South Beach, Miami has especially struggled on the road in the month of March, having lost six of their last eight overall. Toronto on the other hand have a worse home record than Miami do on the road, however they have been great against the spread at Air Canada Center and against teams with winning records.

Considering how bad the Heat have been on the road and in the second of backs to backs lately, the safest option would be here is too take the points. Miami could very well come out here and win by 20 tonight, however the Raptors already played them very tough in their last meeting and they could very well do so tonight.
