Philadelphia 76ers vs. Atlanta Hawks

The Philadelphia 76ers look to continue their dominance of the visiting Atlanta Hawks tonight.  The 76ers are -6 point favorites over the Hawks with an over/under point total set at 179.

Head to head, the Hawks are 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings, while the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The 76ers are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games as a home favorite of 5.0-10.5, but just 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 0 days rest. The Hawks on the other hand are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games playing on 0 days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, but just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as a road underdog of 5.0-10.5.

With their embarrassing 97-76 loss to the Washington Wizards on Friday night, the 76ers have dropped out of first place in the Atlantic Division since late December. Having now dropped six of nine overall, Philadelphia has really struggled on the offensive end as of late and they are not getting the same output they got from players like Lou Williams earlier on in the season. Atlanta on the other hand bounced back from consecutive losses to take down the visiting New York Knicks on Friday night. The Hawks, despite their injury concerns, have now won seven of 10 as they continue their charge towards the playoffs.

Even though they have struggled for the best part of a month, the 76ers have to fancy their chances tonight against a team they have already beaten twice this season and four straight overall. On the other side of things, the Hawks are playing much better basketball at the moment and they have won two of their last three away from home. With both teams coming off games last night, it seems pretty logical to take the better team with the points here.
