Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks head to Milwaukee on Tuesday to face off against a solid Milwaukee Bucks squad.  The Bucks are -2 point favorites over the Hawks with an over/under point total set at 198.5.

The Milwaukee Bucks are sitting at 22-27 on the season, and currently the Bucks trail the Bulls by 17 games in the Central division. Injuries have played their part, but considering the Bucks do have some nice talent on their team, it’s safe to say that the season has been disappointing thus far. The Bucks have just one win in their last four games heading into their match-up with Atlanta on Tuesday, and currently Milwaukee has lost two in a row.

The Atlanta Hawks are playing solid ball this season as the Hawks are sitting with a nice record at 30-20 on the year. The Hawks are currently on a four game winning streak, and the Hawks need to keep up the positive pace if Atlanta wants to catch the Heat as the Hawks currently trail Miami by six games. The Hawks play outstanding defense, giving up just 92.7 points per game on average, good enough for fifth best in the league.

The Bucks have been in some higher scoring games as of late as the Bucks have gone over the projected total in 13 of their last 17 games. Milwaukee has been a poor play at home lately though as the Bucks are just 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 games. The Hawks on the other hand have been solid lately, going 10-4-1 against the spread in their last 15 games.

The Bucks play really well at home, but I just can’t see Milwaukee covering this small number here. The Hawks are clearly the better team right now as Atlanta is playing some outstanding ball at the moment.
