Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors

The Cleveland Cavaliers have payback on their minds as they host the Toronto Raptors.  The Cavaliers are -4 point favorites over the Raptors with an over/under point total set at 192.5.

Having just lost six on the trot, it looked like the Cavaliers hopes making the post season were dead in the water. However, after three straight impressive victories the Cavs sit only a half a game behind Milwaukee for the eight spot in the East. Meanwhile, the Raptors have dropped back to back games after alternating wins and losses for the better part of two weeks.

The Raptors have had the edge of the Cavaliers this season, winning both contests by an average of 11.5 points per game. In their first meeting back in late December, seven Toronto players scored in double figures as they escaped Cleveland with a 104-96 victory. In their most recent meeting, two players did the brunt of the damage as Andrea Bargnani scored a game high 31 points, while DeMar DeRozan added 25 of his own to lead the Raptors to a comfortable 92-77 win in Toronto.

Head to head, the Raptors are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall, but just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games and 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5. The Raptors on the other hand are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games, 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall.

Having already lost twice to the Raptors this season, you would think the Cavaliers would be pretty keen on some revenge tonight. Having said that, it’s not going to be easy as the Raptors do have some nice weapons and they just covered the spread recently in seven straight games. No Calderon will hurt Toronto tonight and I like Cleveland to get the payback their looking for here.
