Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Oklahoma City Thunder return home to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.  The Thunder are -9.5 point favorites over the Grizzlies with an over/under point total set at 192.5.

The Thunder bounced back from a loss against the Clippers as they took down the defending champion Dallas Mavericks 95-86 on Wednesday night to improve to a league best 17-4. Led by the usual suspects in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who are both top team in the league in scoring, Oklahoma City is now 9-3 away from home after their impressive win in Dallas. The Thunder are also virtually unbeatable at home as they boast a 9-1 record  Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The Grizzlies picked up one of their most impressive wins on the season on Thursday night after dismantling the Hawks 96-77 in Atlanta. Just two nights after defeating the Denver Nuggets in overtime, Memphis looked downright dominated at times against Atlanta as they led by as many as 30 points in the second half. The Grizzles were led by Rudy Gay’s 21 points and they are now 9-1 when he scores over 20 points, but just 3-9 when he’s held to 19 or fewer.

Head to head, the  Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings and 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Oklahoma City, while the favorite is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The Thunder are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite of 5.0-10.5 and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Grizzlies on the other hand are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 20-5-1 ATS in their last 26 games playing on 0 days rest, but just 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games as a road underdog of 5.0-10.5.

Take the Thunder minus the 9.5 here.  Look for them to pull away late.
